That’s the order, and it’s why our decks tend to fit the way people live rather than the way a catalog says they should. Below is everything we do, from the first drawing to the last coat of stain.

Design
Design is where the decisions get made. Layout, levels, materials, how the deck meets the house and the slope it sits on. Custom Deck Design
Most projects begin here. Our custom deck design process starts with the site and the way you’ll use it, then works out the shape, the levels and the materials from there. It’s a design conversation, not a quote. You’ll see drawings before you see numbers, and nothing gets built until the plan makes sense to you.
Multi-Level Deck Design
Austin lots slope, and a single flat platform often wastes the best part of a yard. Multi-level deck layouts follow the grade instead of fighting it, so you get separate zones for cooking, sitting and dining without one crowding the other. They’re also how we solve awkward drops between a back door and the ground.
Pool Deck Design
Pool deck surrounds have to handle water, bare feet and full sun, which narrows the material list quickly. We design for surface temperature, drainage and slip resistance first, then make it look like it belongs to the house rather than sitting around the pool as an afterthought.
Rooftop Deck Design
Rooftop deck builds carry structural questions a ground-level deck never does, from load paths to drainage to how you get up there. We work these out at the design stage with your structural partners, so what gets drawn is what can actually be built.
Build and Care

Deck Installation
New deck builds run on one crew from the first drawing through to the final walk-through, working in composite and hardwood. We handle the sequencing, the site and the finish, and we’ll tell you what’s happening on your deck each week rather than leaving you to guess.
Deck Repair
Most jobs here are deck board repairs, railing fixes or stair rebuilds. If your deck has soft spots, movement underfoot or rail that gives when you lean on it, we’ll find what’s causing it and put it right. Repairs carry the same one year craftsmanship warranty as a new build.
Deck Replacement
Sometimes a deck has reached the end of what repair can do. Complete replacements often cost less over time than patching, and we’ll tell you honestly which situation you’re in. If it’s a rebuild, it goes back through design rather than getting copied board for board.
Deck Staining
Texas sun is hard on timber, and finish is what stands between your deck and another rebuild. Sensible deck staining cycles keep the color even and the boards sound. It’s the least expensive thing you can do for a deck, and the one most often left too late.
